You asked for it, and we’ve given it to you whether you like it or not. Or, more to the point, Ditch has. Cos he’s rigged up Mumble to give us a way to bring you commentary, which means we can now livecast Ultiduo games!

The plan, for now, is to do our first night of casting on Sunday (12^th June), and to cast as many of the games in the elimination stages as possible. So if you schedule your games for Sunday then we’ll do our best to cover them; hopefully we can get a good run of games in a row and we can make a night of it.

All you need to do to take part is to sit in the Mumble channel where we’re providing commentary, and to view the match in-game through Source TV (meaning you just connect to the correct IP in TF2, we’ll provide you with the right one before each cast).

If you’d like to be part of the commentary team, get in touch with me (Scatterbrain) and I’ll see what I can do for you.

The group stage of the SpecialAttack.net Ultiduo Cup is now officially underway!

Teams can start playing their games once every team with their group has been created in the cup section. For that reason, it’s very important that you register your team as soon as possible; you have until midnight next Sunday to play everyone in your group, so don’t hang around.

Hi folks! As you might’ve heard, we’re running a TF2 ‘Ultiduo’ cup – with steam games as prizes!

It’s a very simple format – one blu soldier and one blu medic against one red soldier and one red medic, in a small King of the Hill map. So it’s ideal for any TF2 players, whether new, old or returning after a long break.

All community members – that is, any regular player from any of our servers – are welcome to sign up. If you wish to include a friend who we haven’t met yet in your team, that’s ok too. However, the cup won’t be open to teams who are totally outside of the community.
