Weirdo's weekly win and fail! 23rd December

It's that time again!

WIN's:

SpA won the SpA VS. Community-match!
Weeeee are the champions, my friend!

SpA vs. Community matches every 2nd week?
Sonny says he might will begin to arrange SpA vs. community matches every 2nd week. Now that would be awesome!

A bit about our bandwidth

We averagely use 75 GB of gaming only bandwidth, daily.

75 GB = 80.530.636.800 bytes
That means we host 3.355.443.200 bytes per hour.
That means 55.924.053,333 bytes per minute.
That means 932.067,555 bytes PER SECOND!
That means 0,8 megabyte per second, instantly!!

We are very happy that we've reached this massive traffic.

To keep this daily 75GB running, we have to pay a lot of money.

Weirdo's weekly win and fail!

Yeah. That's right. I'm blogging too. And i'm gonna blog ye all to hell! (notrly)

Ok, guys. This blog is a TL;DR("Too long; didn't read" for the humans)-friendly blog, which is about what I think has been a win or fail for SpA and me personally this week. I'll do my best to update this every Tuesday, but nothin's guaranteed!

WIN's:
TF2-updates are back!
I love the new updates. And especially 'cause it got the L4D-fags back!

Everyday...

Everyday i see myself becoming more lonely.
Everyday i see myself becoming more depressed.
Everyday i see myself becoming more obsolete.
Everyday i see myself becoming more of a /B/tard.
Everyday i wonder why?, how?, when?, and must this be?.
And everyday i come to the conclusion that i don't know and why the fuck should i care!

Working our way through the bugs...

Building towards a stable hosting platform.

It's been quite a long process to get the new machine up and running as its suppose to. It took us loads of troubleshooting, hours of brain breaking mysteries , kilo’s of weed and litters of red bull to locate and fix the issue. In the end it turned out to be faulty BIOS memory settings and a faulty BIOS causing the L2-cache write from the memory to the CPU to perform so bad that it caused the whole system to screw up. Luckily we finally could locate the issue so we can go on with the rest of the work, which mostly got put on hold because of all working hours going into the new system. The new system now runs the servers nicely on the expected CPU load and with a rock solid 990 FPS.

My problems with Left 4 Dead

I am sure everyone curses at the Left 4 Dead lobby system. To me it seems like Valve just HAD to get the game out before the christmas sales, and - perhaps for the first time ever - this has infected the performance greatly.

Aside from the major server handling issues, I have a huge problem with the Versus gamemode. Sure it's fun, but it's too random. I played a game where my team would meet the tank early, in very confined spaces, and get the witch soon hereafter, in a location where you would have to kill her. The other team, however, met their tank in possible the easiest locations ever, after they had just recieved their guns, meaning the tank went down very fast. The location of "their" witch would always be in some useless room, that they did not even have to enter. I seem to get a lot of this lately.

What is the purpose of both the tank and the witch in a versus mode anyway? They are way too random, and they often contribute to lucky whipeouts. If I had anything to say at Valve, the witch should be removed completely from Versus mode, and the tank should only be available at the campaign finales.

My music tastes and abit of history of me and music!

I don't have that much of a stationary musical taste, but more of a musical taste that corresponds to my current mood or what kind of mood i want to be in. For example when im playing i usually listen to music wich has a fast tempo(happy hardcore, powermetal). For just normal hanging around I like music wich has a bit slower tempo and has simpler melodies(punkrock, indie rock).

I shall begin my reign of spa.... blogging :D

Ok well ill be blogging about my life(and how it sucks[I'll try to make it interesting]) and music and about anything random :D

P.S. This was to see if this shit works.

Please don't hit me anymore :(

Call of Duty World at war

My experiences with COD WAW :

In one word: Awesome!
It has all the features of what CoD always consisted of. Graphics are good, the sound is just awesome, gameplay is good. As good as cod4, mainly because it's almost the same, only different time area.
Perks is awesome as well. When you come along in the game and get yourself some experience points, you get perks, then you can create a custom class with your own favourite perks and guns, I just love those options to a game.

My game music

There has been chats on the forums about music, and I figured I would share my collection of favourite music.

Yes, I do listen to alot of soft music, mostly rock ;)
