Behind the scenes, first entry: This wonderful day brought us much joy. To start of this very early morning, I was glad to have the green light on adding just merely 17 new members! (I had to remove 7 of the actual members list due to prolonged inactivity though). We were happy to hear a few peeps liked to join our community. People we have met in the past half a year to a year or so and we had some ppl added from our own waiting list as well. This had to be announced, added to the members group of our forum, to the admin group, etc. All this was done before half past 8 this morning. Not that it was all done neatly. I blame the hour of the day and the fact I was so enthusiastic to add so many :D. The night before last night, I had managed to change 8 names of the new members. I renamed nonoice to hawkins, renamed hawkins to tynnyri, Tynnyri to neoflo, etc. That was a bitch to rename all to the correct names. Considering this, this morning everything went actually perfect! Hah :D All ended well with a lot of happy faces. Then more joy followed when our own Minty fresh maker settled some issues with some raw Norwegian soberness. The rich bastard decided to pay up front for all the ones coming to the get together and who want to stay for another week after that. So, happy-me could go fix the housing for these lads. As some of you may not know, SpA members are very keen on good excuses for all kinds of abuse. Mainly abusing each other and some would settle for abusing each other and substances like the wonderful beverage called Beer (carrots is the magic word here, just ask Frosty). So, from time to time, we like to kick ppl's but in real life instead of our wonderful virtual experiences with each other. Last time, we all met up in the Harlem of Scotch Whiskey, namely Scotland. This time we’re gonna meet in the land of tulips, wooden shoes and wind mills (can’t find better things to couple Holland with ;-) ) For this get together we’re currently looking for the right housing as already 15 members are coming. But to make it even worse, some of those idiots thought the Netherlands would deserve some more of their wonderful foreign entertainment. For these lads I found a nice dune cottage near the living places of Saint, Pim, UndeadDruid and me. Called in the reservations and Mint wired us the money like some rich ass oil Sheik. So, that settled the fact they are really gonna be here those days… No escape possible :D (And that while the spot for the actual get together has yet to be found :D) We’re all very much looking forward to this cultural educational and health enhancing trip!
