Some time ago quite a few SpA members started playing Heroes of Newerth and then stopped after they realized they suck at it. Only one brave warrior, Lim-Dul, decided to hone his skills over many, many wasted evenings of rage inducing matches and rise to the rank of absolute mediocrity.

Now it's time to introduce a whole new generation of fail to the world of Newerth!

Hereby I'm proud to announce the SpecialAttack Heroes of Newerth Weekend. The game is currently in closed beta but all former accounts, including mine, have a TON of invitations, so we will be able to cater for everybody.

The game is a clone of Defense of the Ancients, a WarCraft 3 mod, and basically plays out like a team-based Diablo with all the leveling and items contained within the boundaries of a single match. It's a lot of fun and with time you will discover unheard of depths to the gameplay. Sadly it's a bit hard to get into the game with no good documentation available except for user created guides and that's what I'm here for.

We will start on Saturday and Sunday (14-15.11.09) at 16:00 CET and play organized 5on5 matches every one or two hours until we get bored - sign-ups are on a first-come first-serve basis and various fun gameplay modes and settings will be tried out for maximum enjoyment.

A forum topic will set up when I'm able to do so (damn you, Hedgehog Incident!), in which I will provide additional info and where everybody can request beta keys.
